I change something about this picture every time I work on it.
By Mark Young Available as a limited edition signed and numbered print 8×12 for $75
Originally shot in my first trip to California, by photographer Josh Roton.
The first painting I did of the Sex Pistol baseman was a watercolor miniature. This new interpretation was painted on my new iPad Pro, using Procreate and several layers. I always tend to make him look too old.
Artwork by Mark Young Punk, also called punk rock, aggressive form of rock music that coalesced into an international (though predominantly Anglo-American) movement in 1975–80. Often politicized and full of vital energy beneath a sarcastic, hostile facade, punk spread as an ideology and an aesthetic approach, becoming an archetype of teen rebellion and alienation.
